No prior experience in quantum technology is necessary to make a significant impact at Q-CTRL. We prioritize strong engineering principles, a product-oriented approach, and a passion for tackling complex engineering challenges in quantum sensing.

Role Overview
We are on the lookout for a talented Embedded Software Engineer to create firmware that drives our control, sensing, and actuation systems, automating the operations of our quantum sensors. Your primary focus will be on developing new applications on the Xilinx Zynq + Embedded Linux platform, collaborating closely with research scientists to propel scientific progress and showcase our technology in real-world environments. The firmware you develop will involve real-time constraints, data acquisition, signal processing, sequence execution, network communication, and hardware/FPGA interfacing. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to advancing quantum sensing technologies for defense and aerospace applications, working alongside experts in areas such as cold-atom interferometry, magnetometry, and inertial navigation.
