About the Role
As a Staff Engineer, you will play a vital role as a technical leader, guiding the development and enhancement of our core systems that constitute our global infrastructure. Your collaboration across various functions at Routefusion will be instrumental in shaping our technical strategy, fostering education, and cultivating a progressive culture within the engineering team. You will tackle complex systems to ensure security, scalability, and reliability throughout the technological stack.

What You’ll Do
● Technical Leadership:
○ Drive the technical roadmap for essential platform infrastructure components.
○ Provide architectural expertise and guidance on complex system design and implementation.
○ Identify and resolve systemic challenges affecting the scalability and reliability of Routefusion's platform.
○ Lead initiatives to enhance engineering practices and improve infrastructure efficiency.
● System Design and Implementation:
○ Create and implement highly scalable, resilient, and efficient systems.
○ Develop and maintain core infrastructure services with a focus on security, automation, and observability.
