About Aviatrix

Aviatrix® is dedicated to helping enterprises effectively secure their cloud workloads. Aviatrix ® provides a unified solution for comprehensive cloud security. Unlike traditional cybersecurity that focuses solely on securing entry points, our Cloud Native Security Fabric (CNSF) offers runtime security and enforcement within the cloud application infrastructure itself, bridging gaps in existing strategies and empowering organizations to regain visibility and control. We enable security, cloud, and networking teams to enhance developer velocity, AI capabilities, serverless architectures, and more. For additional details, visit www.aviatrix.ai.

About the Role:

As a Staff Engineer – Cloud Testing, you will be responsible for defining the test strategy and ensuring quality outcomes for Aviatrix's cloud networking and security features. You will create and execute thorough test plans, promote automation, and guarantee product reliability from the design phase to production release.

In this role, you will work autonomously, lead testing initiatives for complex features, mentor fellow engineers, and collaborate across teams to enhance system reliability, performance, and release speed.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee test strategy and quality outcomes for features from design to release.
  • Develop and implement test plans, designs, and automation for both new and existing features.
  • Enhance product reliability, performance, and scalability through early defect detection and risk assessment.
  • Construct and manage lab environments that replicate actual customer networking deployments.
  • Examine logs, troubleshoot issues, and determine root causes of defects.
  • Identify release impediments, assess quality risks, and guide release readiness decisions.
  • Prioritize test coverage and manage testing timelines for feature delivery.
  • Analyze customer-reported defects and identify trends for improvement.
