Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and execution of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring top-tier build, test, and release processes that facilitate seamless continuous integration and deployment. Develop automated deployment frameworks that enable zero-downtime releases and fast iteration cycles for our software offerings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Security, Infrastructure, and Product teams, to integrate advanced automated testing and comprehensive reporting systems, enhancing our CI/CD workflows. Mentor fellow engineers on CI/CD best practices, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Drive multi-quarter strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the reliability, scalability, and performance of our CI/CD infrastructure. Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in CI/CD and DevOps, advocating for and implementing enhancements to our systems, including the integration of AI tooling into the development lifecycle at Asana. Qualifications: 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on CI/CD in large-scale environments. Proven expertise in designing and implementing distributed systems and dependable infrastructure. Comprehensive understanding of CI/CD tools and processes, with practical experience using platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar. Skilled in scripting and programming languages like Python and Bash, with familiarity in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform. Demonstrated experience with AI tooling and integrations (e.g., Claude, Cursor, MCP servers). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes. A strong advocate for developer productivity and best practices.

As is common with most Asana employees, you will work on-site in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays.
