Background in a dynamic design environment is essential. Preferred Qualifications:A strong passion for creating physical models that accurately correlate with bench and flight test data. Experience in modeling electric or hybrid powertrain systems. Knowledge of numerical optimization techniques. Familiarity with 14 CFR Part 33 and RTCA DO-311A regulations. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment that values and celebrates our unique differences.What You’ll Do:We are looking for a highly experienced Flight Test Program Manager to spearhead the planning, execution, and certification of our flight test campaigns. This pivotal role will serve as the essential link between our design engineering teams, flight operations crew, and regulatory authorities. As the manager, you will oversee the daily operations of flight test vehicles, ensuring that all development and certification testing is conducted with the utmost safety and efficiency. A profound understanding of flight test operations, along with exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills, is essential for success in this role.Key Responsibilities:Lead the comprehensive planning and execution of flight test campaigns from initial ground runs to final certification.Act as the primary liaison between the Flight Test organization and Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.Develop, manage, and ensure adherence to flight test processes and procedures.Oversee configuration control of test vehicles to guarantee alignment with specific test requirements.Collaborate with the FAA and designated engineering representatives (DERs) to facilitate Certification and Type Inspection Authorization (TIA) activities.Manage logistics for external test sites, including remote deployments, hangar facilities, and airspace coordination.Program Management:Create and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for all flight test vehicles and assets.Oversee program budgets for flight operations, including instrumentation, maintenance, telemetry infrastructure, and external range costs.Track and report on flight test key performance indicators (KPIs), such as sortie rates, test point efficiency, and aircraft availability.Facilitate daily stand-ups and weekly program reviews.
