Role overview
The Staff Engineer, Flight Modeling & Simulation, will focus on developing and refining simulation models that support the design, certification, and operation of Archer’s eVTOL aircraft.
Key responsibilities
- Develop advanced flight simulation physics models tailored for eVTOL aircraft.
- Conduct vehicle-level trade studies to inform design decisions.
- Enhance electrical, thermal, and performance model accuracy by incorporating lab and flight test data to support vehicle certification.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to integrate their systems into the overall vehicle simulation framework.
- Contribute to design and analysis efforts to help meet both business and regulatory requirements with a high degree of confidence.
