What You'll Do:
- Design, implement, and maintain software libraries and computing infrastructure that empower engineers to tackle problems with speed and efficiency. Advocate for shared computational resources within the Flight Sciences department.
- Develop processes and tools to enhance reproducibility and traceability of computation methodologies, driving their implementation across teams.
- Foster a culture of software excellence throughout the engineering organization.
- Assess the requirements of various engineering teams to optimize the use of High-Performance Computing (HPC) resources and make informed infrastructure decisions for efficient resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee and manage on-premises HPC resources, ensuring their effective operation.
- Represent engineering and computational needs to the company’s IT department.
