Responsibilities:Architect, specify, and configure high power chargers for Waymo depots. Validate charger system requirements and specifications. Design and execute validation tests to ensure charger performance and reliability. Debug and triage charger failures encountered in the field. Evaluate and select new charger hardware architectures and technologies. Qualifications:BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of experience in high power charging hardware, including power module design, schematic capture, board layout, manufacturing, and testing/debugging. Successful delivery of at least one project from prototype to mass production. Experience with hardware validation cycles and debugging techniques. Familiarity with lab bring-up, complex electronic systems debugging, and manufacturing testing processes. Knowledge of electric vehicles and high power chargers. Understanding of power electronics and high voltage safety protocols. Experience in designing for functional safety.
