Work closely with Power Electronics designers and systems engineers to optimize the cost and performance of power systems. Create comprehensive electromechanical interface drawings, system diagrams, and documentation to support project requirements. QualificationsMaster's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with at least 12 years of experience. Expertise in 3D modeling, CAD design, mechanical design, tolerance analysis, and FMEA. Familiar with fabrication methods including sheet metal, extrusion, welding, casting, and injection molding. Strong background in thermal design solutions, including both forced air and liquid cooling systems. Knowledge of outdoor-rated electronics packaging, corrosion resistance, and IP ratings. Experience with 1000 Vac unit design, including familiarity with NEC, UL, and IEC standards. Proficient in kiloamp-level AC and DC bussing systems, including bus bars and bus ways.
