Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and execution of perception solutions that interface directly with downstream components of the autonomy system. Evaluate the performance of perception subsystems to identify potential limitations concerning system-level capabilities. Document hazards and guide cross-team initiatives to address or alleviate them. Innovate solutions for complex, rare challenges, such as synthetic data generation techniques, advanced data mining strategies, or employing language embeddings in onboard models. Depending on your expertise and interests, you may also optimize and deploy models to the vehicle, ensuring functionality within the constraints of onboard hardware and adherence to interface specifications. Collaborate with systems engineers, safety engineers, test engineers, and data analysts to ensure comprehensive requirements, test coverage, and performance metrics are met. Required Qualifications: Master's or Ph. D. in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related discipline; or equivalent practical experience. Proven leadership capabilities in executing large-scale, complex technical projects. Demonstrated success in interdisciplinary collaboration and product-focused engineering. Comprehensive understanding of Deep Learning algorithms, architecture, and implementation.
