Staff Product Manager, Cloud Data Protection

Rubrik is seeking a dynamic and experienced Staff Product Manager with a proven history of advancing product capabilities from conception through to successful market delivery. Joining the Cloud Data Protection team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy and execution of data protection for public cloud workloads. We are looking for an individual who has successfully launched enterprise-grade products and possesses a comprehensive understanding of cloud deployment models. You will collaborate closely with customers, sales, and engineering teams to achieve our shared objective: delivering the finest data management solutions in the industry, on schedule, and with exceptional quality. As a champion for both our customers and business interests, you will harmonize diverse perspectives and lead cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive product strategy, roadmap, and execution for data backup and recovery solutions targeting public cloud services/applications (like Azure Instances, AzureSQL).
- Work in tandem with engineering, support, design, and marketing teams to conceptualize, develop, and launch high-quality product experiences.
- Compose Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), oversee project execution, and assist in formulating the product rollout strategy.
- Analyze customer usage patterns to derive new product insights.
- Craft, manage, and communicate the product roadmap to key stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis, prioritize product features, and clearly articulate decisions and trade-offs.
- Represent your product in customer engagements during both pre-sales and post-sales scenarios.
- Identify and establish strategic technology and sales partnerships.
