About the job
At Anduril Industries, we are redefining defense technology with a vision to enhance military capabilities through cutting-edge innovations. Our mission is to integrate the expertise and pioneering technologies of the 21st century into the defense sector, transforming the design, development, and deployment of military systems. Our systems are powered by Lattice OS, an AI-driven operating system that synthesizes vast data streams into a dynamic 3D command and control environment. In a rapidly evolving strategic landscape, Anduril is poised to deliver state-of-the-art autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking solutions to the military in record time.
ABOUT OUR TEAM
The Air Dominance & Strike team at Anduril is dedicated to the development of advanced aerial and multi-domain robotic systems. We take innovative products like the Fury unmanned fighter jet and the Barracuda air-breathing cruise missile from initial concept to operational deployment. Our team also architects Lattice for Mission Autonomy, our flagship software platform that facilitates collaboration among fleets of Fury, Barracuda, and various other robotic systems on diverse missions. We collaborate closely with specialized teams in Perception, Motion Planning, Hardware, and Test Engineering to tackle the most pressing challenges faced by our clients. We are seeking talented software engineers and roboticists who are passionate about building a robust autonomy software ecosystem that incorporates computer vision, motion planning, SLAM, control systems, estimation, and secure communications.
YOUR ROLE
- Develop and maintain essential libraries and services that enable collaborative robotic teams to operate effectively, including motion deconfliction and contingency management for high-speed aerial vehicles.
- Lead the development and implementation of substantial, intricate features for our products, such as terminal-phase autonomy for various aerial systems and devising comprehensive testing protocols on live surrogates.
- Engage closely with Anduril and third-party vehicle hardware teams, along with operational experts (e.g., fighter pilots, UAV operators) to refine requirements throughout the product development cycle and iteratively enhance the final design.
