ABOUT YOU AND THE ROLE
At Zipline, we create and manage drone fleets that rapidly deliver medical supplies to those in need, irrespective of their location. Our software team is working on scalable solutions that will allow for swift expansion while empowering our top-tier distribution centers to serve customers efficiently.
We face security challenges that go beyond typical cybersecurity threats; they involve complex issues surrounding real-world autonomy, robotics, cloud software, and healthcare regulations. You will collaborate extensively with software, infrastructure, and autonomy teams to mitigate actual risks in our systems.
We seek candidates who thrive in startup environments, exhibit versatility, and work collaboratively across various engineering disciplines. As part of our small yet impactful security team, you will have a significant role in shaping our scaling strategies.
A note on our modern reality and agentic tooling:
Our engineering teams are increasingly leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance productivity. However, the integration of such tools poses risks, including unmonitored access to sensitive data. You will guide Zipline in safely utilizing these technologies while ensuring they do not inadvertently alter our threat landscape.
This position is hybrid; you will have regular in-person engagement at our headquarters in South San Francisco.
