About the Role
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will lead the design and development of innovative enhancements to our advanced claims and payment processing systems. Your work will span critical areas such as contract and pricing configuration, system extensibility via our proprietary DSL, and improving data pipeline architecture and efficiency. You will leverage AI to tackle complex challenges, automating and optimizing previously tedious processes. Your primary focus will be on creating scalable and dependable systems that enhance the accuracy and efficiency of our claims and payment workflows.
You will report directly to the Director of Software Engineering.
Work Location: This role is based in our Tempe, AZ office, with a hybrid work schedule requiring 3 days in-office each week. Thursdays are mandatory in-office days for team meetings and events, while the other two days are flexible to fit your needs. #LI-Hybrid
Pay Transparency:
The base salary for this position ranges from $192,000 to $252,000 per year. In addition, you will enjoy comprehensive employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, equity grants, and annual performance bonuses.
