The Role:
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Core Services team. In this pivotal technical leadership role, you will be recognized as an authority throughout the organization. You will not only manage systems but will take ownership of the technical integrity of platforms that span various departments, ensuring our infrastructure is scalable, resilient, and innovative. Your contributions will significantly influence our engineering culture and the long-term success of the business.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs, primarily utilizing Python (FastAPI), SQLAlchemy, and AWS infrastructure.
Create and implement features for data ingestion, third-party integrations (e.g., Slack, HubSpot, Notion), authentication/authorization, and enterprise-level security and compliance.
Oversee the complete software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Work in close collaboration with product managers, front-end engineers, and data scientists to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
Foster technical excellence through code reviews, mentorship, and adherence to best practices in software engineering.
Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to the operational excellence, reliability, and observability of backend systems.
Continuously enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability to accommodate rapid user and data growth.
Promote a culture of innovation, ownership, and customer-centricity.
