About the Role
In your role as a Staff Software Engineer, you will be pivotal in creating a product that truly makes a difference. Our mission is to empower individuals to take command of their financial futures, whether it means overcoming debt, purchasing their first home, or preparing for retirement. You will play a key role in steering the architectural vision of our platform as we expand globally as an enterprise-grade SaaS solution.
This position involves addressing the intricate technical challenges associated with scaling an enterprise platform, such as multi-tenancy, cloud architecture, distributed systems, data architecture, and AI infrastructure, all thoughtfully integrated into the core platform. Your contributions will be vital in establishing a scalable, secure, and compliant backend foundation, directly influencing our architecture and daily operations within the engineering team.
As part of a small, agile engineering team, this hybrid role allows you to engage in hands-on coding and infrastructure development while also serving as a backend technical leader and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You'll integrate backend, data, and AI systems into a cohesive architectural framework, mentor fellow engineers, and elevate the standards of technical decision-making as we evolve. If you are excited by the prospect of comprehensive architectural ownership, enhancing efficiency through automation (including AI-driven solutions), and shaping an engineering organization focused on advancing financial wellness, we would love to connect with you.
