About the Role:
Hims & Hers is on a transformative journey to empower healthier living. Our Core Experience team plays a pivotal role by developing the backend systems that facilitate patient acquisition, engagement, and care delivery, including checkout, payments, prescriptions, and health data management.
As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will be a vital technical leader, responsible for architecting and implementing scalable, high-performance solutions across our systems. You will take ownership of architectural designs critical to the group's initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align system architectures with our long-term strategic objectives. Your involvement will also extend to product discovery, ensuring that user needs are met and that best practices for architectural patterns and reusable components are shared across teams.
