About the Role:
Reporting to Raghu Nallamothu, the Staff Data Platform Engineer position is a remarkable opportunity to shape the strategic direction of the data platform team. As a foundational member, you will spearhead the design, development, and scaling of advanced data storage and caching systems to petabyte-level capacity, establishing benchmarks for reliability, availability, and performance critical to our operations. You will also play a crucial role in pioneering retrieval-augmented generation systems, setting a new standard for innovative data-driven capabilities at Ambient.ai.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture and scaling of our data storage and caching systems to handle petabyte-scale data while spearheading advanced retrieval-augmented generation systems.
Create highly efficient caching systems that eliminate latency and ensure rapid data access.
Address data infrastructure challenges proactively, swiftly resolving issues to minimize downtime.
Drive innovative efforts in retrieval-augmented generation systems, pushing the boundaries of data capabilities.
