The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Designing, building, and maintaining the core backend platform that calculates and processes sustainability impact assessments across global customer value chains.
Architecting and implementing robust, scalable data models and systems that ensure consistency, integrity, and clarity for complex value chain and climate-related data.
Developing and operating high-performance backend systems and data pipelines to efficiently ingest, transform, and harmonize external and customer datasets into reliable, production-grade data assets.
Focusing on data accuracy and performing thorough validations to protect customers from unintended data changes.
Collaborating closely with climate scientists and data scientists to translate complex methodologies into high-quality, validated, and performant platform capabilities.
Implementing comprehensive validation, quality checks, and monitoring processes within the backend platform to ensure high reliability and correctness of customer-facing sustainability data.
Building abstractions, tooling, and infrastructure that empower data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to safely and efficiently integrate new calculation methods and data processing logic.
Partnering with product managers, scientists, and engineering leaders to define the roadmap and develop the platforms and capabilities for delivering critical sustainability data and methodologies to our customers.
