Our systems are built on Elixir, which we have adopted for its fault tolerance, concurrency, and scalability—crucial features for managing real-time patient data in critical environments such as Emergency Departments, ICUs, and Operating Rooms.
We are in search of a Staff Software Engineer who is eager to address some of the most complex technical challenges in healthcare, joining a small, agile, and mission-driven team. Technical Challenges You May Encounter in Your First 6 Months:
Designing Modern Cloud Architecture: Build a cloud-native platform from the ground up without any legacy systems to complicate the process, utilizing Elixir as the foundation.
Creating an Advanced Access Control System: Develop a modern access control system featuring fine-grained permissions that respect clinical data structures and patient data ownership while facilitating population-level insights for improved public health outcomes.
Ensuring 24/7 Hospital Uptime: Engineer and deploy infrastructure capable of supporting rolling deployments, failover protocols, and continuous service availability.
