WHAT YOU'LL DODefine, establish, and lead the infrastructure integration engineering practice, setting the technical vision and strategy for integrating new entities and technologies. Take ownership of all infrastructure components of acquisition integration from discovery and due diligence through migration execution and hypercare. Conduct thorough technical assessments of target companies’ infrastructure, systems, and operational capabilities, identifying risks and opportunities. Develop an effective framework for integration processes and documentation.

The Staff Systems Engineer - M&A joins the Infrastructure Engineering team to lead technical integration for newly acquired companies. This position focuses on ensuring new acquisitions transition smoothly into Anduril’s systems and workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire infrastructure engineering lifecycle for integrating acquisitions, from initial assessment through migration and post-integration support.
  • Develop and carry out integration strategies, architectural plans, and hands-on engineering work.
  • Collaborate with executives, founders, and teams across M&A program, Client Engineering, and Business Systems & Applications.
  • Create and improve repeatable integration processes, including conducting post-mortems and driving continuous improvement.
  • Spot gaps in discovery, migration, and testing tools, then either build solutions or coordinate with peers to implement them.

Requirements

  • Ability to work at both the strategic and hands-on engineering levels.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Strong background in systems engineering and networking.
  • Understanding of security and client engineering concepts.
  • Track record of improving processes and developing tools for integration projects.
