ABOUT THE TEAM

We are looking for a talented Staff Systems Security Engineer to champion security engineering principles in the design and integration of our advanced technologies, including AI systems, command and control platforms, aerospace vehicles, and long-range sensors. The right candidate will possess a strong background in systems of systems, electrical and/or software engineering, with specialized knowledge in embedded systems security. This role involves conducting detailed security architecture assessments, identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, and collaborating cross-functionally to integrate security into our products.

ABOUT THE JOB

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • This is not an ISSO or ISSM role.
  • Take ownership of security from end-to-end for assigned products—derive and decompose security requirements based on customer needs and threat intelligence, design security architectures, and manage security throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Implement security features and capabilities, develop and execute comprehensive security testing strategies across multiple integration levels, and support significant milestone deliveries (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PRR).
  • Present security architectures and solutions to government clients and program management, simplifying complex security concepts for varied audiences.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to devise solutions that meet and exceed industry-standard security benchmarks.
  • Work with security assessment teams to evaluate Anduril’s products and integrated components, identifying potential weaknesses.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to translate architectural requirements into implementations and work with security teams on threat modeling, validation, and testing.
