PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN (STARLINK)
Join us in one of SpaceX's most ambitious projects, the Starlink satellite constellation, designed to deliver reliable internet access across the globe. We are in search of a dedicated technician to assist in the assembly, integration, and testing of satellite and spacecraft components. This hands-on position entails constructing electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies, executing functional tests, and contributing to prototype development within a dynamic aerospace setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Assemble small electrical sub-assemblies and perform the mechanical/electrical assembly of satellite components, sub-assemblies, and final vehicle integrations.
- Integrate PCB assemblies into product chassis.
- Construct battery cell modules, solar modules, and solar arrays.
- Execute wire harnessing, soldering, and de-soldering of through-hole and SMT components.
- Assist with conformal coating, masking, epoxy application, and related processes.
- Conduct functional testing of assembled hardware, including setup, instrumentation, execution, and teardown.
- Operate sophisticated automated equipment, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Support the development of prototype testing capabilities for spacecraft components and life tests.
- Help identify, install, and implement test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
- Carry out test setups across various conditions, including thermal, shock, thermal vacuum, and vibration.
