Key Responsibilities

1. Market Research & Strategic Analysis

  • Drive comprehensive market research to pinpoint new business prospects, industry dynamics, and competitive advantages.
  • Evaluate market data, client feedback, and industry reports to inform strategic choices.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory developments, economic shifts, and technological advancements influencing the construction landscape.
  • Deliver insightful market intelligence reports to senior leadership.

2. Business Development & Revenue Enhancement

  • Create and implement detailed business development strategies that align with corporate goals.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, including large projects and key client accounts.
  • Cultivate and manage a robust sales pipeline to guarantee ongoing revenue generation.
  • Lead the development and presentation of impactful proposals, presentations, and commercial offers.
  • Negotiate contracts and finalize deals while ensuring alignment with the organization's profitability targets.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Establish and nurture long-lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary contact for strategic clients, ensuring exceptional satisfaction levels.
  • Comprehend client needs and tailor company offerings to deliver value-oriented solutions.
  • Spot opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and repeat engagements.

4. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Guide and mentor the business development team to accomplish targets and improve performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, procurement, and finance teams for successful project execution.
  • Ensure business development efforts align with operational capabilities and resources.
  • Provide internal teams with valuable client insights and market feedback.

5. Market Expansion & Strategic Partnerships

  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, alliances, joint ventures, and new market opportunities.
  • Champion expansion into new geographical territories and market segments.
  • Assess potential acquisitions or partnership prospects to bolster growth.
  • Represent ABEC at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
