We are on the lookout for a Strategic Technical Account Manager (TAM) who is committed to fostering impactful relationships with senior stakeholders and adept at aligning infrastructure solutions with business strategies.

As a Strategic Technical Account Manager at DigitalOcean, you will become part of a high-energy team focused on pioneering advancements in cloud computing and artificial intelligence.

Your Responsibilities:

Strategic Relationship Management

  • Manage the technical relationship with our most valued clients, including Fortune 500 companies and leading global tech firms.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and primary technical contact for executive-level stakeholders, cultivating deep and enduring partnerships.
  • Facilitate regular technical and strategic alignment meetings (QBRs, EBRs) to proactively guide the customer’s infrastructure roadmap.
  • Serve as a thought partner, encouraging customers to modernize and scale their AI/ML and GPU workloads utilizing cutting-edge cloud architectures.

Executive Presence & Influence

  • Engage confidently with C-level and VP-level executives, articulating insights with clarity and authority.
  • Deliver impactful presentations suitable for boardroom discussions, focusing on architectural decisions, cost-performance trade-offs, and innovation potentials.
  • Navigate complex organizational structures to maintain alignment and control at all levels within DigitalOcean.

Technical Consultation & Innovation Support

  • Provide expert advice on architecting and scaling AI/ML, containerized, and GPU-intensive workloads on DigitalOcean.
  • Assist clients with architectural planning, workload migration strategies, performance optimization, and incident management.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to overcome customer challenges and influence the product roadmap based on enterprise requirements.
