Roughan & O’Donovan (ROD) is hiring a Structural Design Engineer to join the buildings team in Dublin. This is a permanent role for candidates with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Role Overview
The Structural Design Engineer will help deliver building projects across sectors such as residential, healthcare, education, and commercial. The role involves technical design, project coordination, and site involvement to ensure projects meet high standards for quality, cost, and sustainability.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out structural design and analysis
- Work with clients, design teams, and contractors
- Monitor progress and quality on construction sites
- Manage project schedules and deliverables
- Conduct structural surveys and prepare detailed reports
- Design site development plans
