As a Structural Steel Project Manager, you will take charge of overseeing operations for assigned projects and leading project teams to ensure success. You will facilitate the management of customer projects across various departments while maintaining continuous communication and support for both internal and external clients to fulfill organizational objectives. Your role will be crucial in fostering a positive organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a cohesive project schedule from inception to completion.
- Draft and distribute project-specific contracts and purchase orders.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of project requirements including contracts, scope of work, drawings, specifications, schedules, budgets, and technical as well as administrative details.
- Document all significant project events to maintain a comprehensive project record.
- Issue and manage change order requests, ensuring timely follow-up on customer change orders.
- Conduct site visits as needed to ensure company interests and project expectations are met.
- Oversee communication and coordination of project budgets with various internal and external departments.
- Effectively manage your time to meet project demands.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
