Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Structures Analyst to become a vital part of our forward-thinking team. The ideal candidate will spearhead the structural analysis and design initiatives for our innovative maritime technologies, guaranteeing the structural integrity and reliability of our ASVs.

Responsibilities

  • Drive structural analysis and simulation projects to evaluate and enhance the performance and reliability of ASV structures across diverse operating conditions and loads.

  • Perform manual calculations grounded in engineering principles to meet design specifications.

  • Offer specialized knowledge in finite element modeling and analysis (FEM/FEA), including meshing, post-processing, and computational methodologies.

  • Work collaboratively with hardware, product development, and production teams to refine designs based on identified load cases.

  • Engage closely with design and engineering teams to incorporate structural considerations throughout the design process, from initial concepts to final implementation.

  • Conduct thorough analyses of stress, strain, and deformation to pinpoint potential failure modes and opportunities for design enhancements, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards.

  • Draft and execute testing and validation protocols to confirm the structural performance of designs; analyze test results and provide insightful recommendations for design alterations.

  • Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation to effectively communicate analysis outcomes, recommendations, and design justifications to internal teams and stakeholders.
