Your Role as a Student Trainee
This traineeship provides an exceptional pathway to understand our firm and its practices, giving you a thorough insight into the daily activities of our lawyers. As a student trainee, you will engage in legal research for various cases we handle. You will share an office with a practicing lawyer, allowing you to ask questions and accompany them to court hearings and client meetings. You'll learn on the job through regular interactions with a partner and a senior associate on specific matters, as well as collaborate with colleagues from different practice areas. You'll also have the chance to fully participate in all our educational and social programs, whether they are specific to your practice or firm-wide.
The Practice
Our Finance & Restructuring team provides advisory services to financial institutions, multinational corporations, private equity investors, and management on a comprehensive range of corporate, asset, and project financing, debt restructuring, and debt capital markets. By collaborating with leading corporate and finance firms across Europe, the US, and Asia, we ensure seamless cross-border services for our clients. Our extensive expertise in corporate, contract, security, insolvency law, and regulatory matters positions our finance and restructuring team at the forefront of legal developments in the Netherlands.
