Objectives / Scope
This position encompasses a variety of technician roles across multiple departments, adhering strictly to ISO9001 standards and procedures.
Main Responsibilities
- Assemble components from kits in accordance with engineering specifications.
- Prepare and process parts for termination and encapsulation.
- Execute electrical terminations and splicing using soldering and mechanical methods.
- Perform Fibre Optic terminations in compliance with established guidelines.
- Mix and cast various resins including Polyurethane, Polyethylene, and epoxy.
- Interpret and utilize technical engineering drawings to ensure precise manufacturing.
- Create connectors and inserts from raw materials.
- Safely handle and store chemicals for cleaning and molding, in line with health and safety protocols.
- Travel to customer sites in the UK and internationally to assist with installation and testing.
- Conduct product testing and meticulously document results.
- Regularly maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Practice effective housekeeping to maintain a professional working environment.
- Support training and awareness initiatives for staff within the Group.
- Uphold the Group's management practices and equal opportunity policies.
