Evolv Technology stands at the forefront of AI-driven weapons detection, dedicated to enhancing safety in public spaces for millions daily. Our Solutions Engineering team collaborates closely with clients to conceptualize, test, and deploy detection solutions that secure hospitals, schools, stadiums, and landmark venues nationwide.
As a Solutions Engineering Intern, you will be instrumental in supporting Evolv’s large-scale rental initiative scheduled from June to mid-July. Throughout your internship, you'll engage in event operations, document operational processes, participate in coordination meetings, and post-event, craft a comprehensive playbook detailing best practices for large-scale rentals.
This position offers hands-on experience with our array of systems, including data collection and analysis, event support, procedural development, and the formulation of an extensive playbook for future large-scale rental deployments. You'll acquire invaluable insights into managing major sporting events while contributing to the operational resources for subsequent large-scale engagements.
Performance Goals for Success
Weeks 1–3: Learn & Integrate
- Collaborate with the Solutions Engineering team to grasp Evolv’s products, workflows, and operational dynamics.
- Complete the Professional Certification Service Course for Evolv Express and eXpedite.
- Shadow Solutions Engineers to maintain demo fleet units and gain practical skills.
- Assist in local stadium events to witness real-world event support.
- Engage in both internal and external sync meetings.
- Initiate leading after-action reports to document early installation, training, and go-live activities.
- Collect data during phases and provide daily reports to the Evolv Event Support Team.
Weeks 3–4: Refinement & Development
- Continue after-action reporting for all activities.
- Participate in event support for local stadiums.
- Start refining procedures for the Large-Scale Rental Playbook based on lessons learned.
- Begin gathering insights from the large-scale rental event for future enhancements.
- Maintain collaboration with mentors to validate evolving processes.
- Collect phase data and report daily to the Evolv Event Support Team.
Weeks 7-10: Deliver & Present
- Complete and present the final playbook for large-scale rental engagements.
