Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and technically inquisitive Summer Intern to join our Power Integrity (PI) engineering team. You will collaborate with seasoned engineers on real-world hardware projects, acquiring practical experience in power delivery network (PDN) analysis, simulation, and board-level characterization. This position is an excellent fit for a student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering with a passion for high-speed digital hardware design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in constructing and simulating power delivery network models utilizing industry-standard tools (e.g., Ansys SIwave, Cadence Sigrity, or equivalents).
- Develop automation solutions for PDN analysis.
- Support PDN impedance and voltage margin analysis for multi-rail PCB designs.
- Conduct laboratory measurements, including oscilloscopic ripple/noise capture, VRM transient response testing, and power rail turn-on sequencing.
- Help correlate simulation models with measured hardware outcomes.
- Document findings, prepare summary reports, and present results to the team.
