Position Overview:
As the Supplier Quality Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead Supplier Quality initiatives throughout the product development process. You will uphold the highest quality standards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. This hands-on role requires extensive experience in supplier management, risk assessment, manufacturing line initiation, and design transition. You will be responsible for establishing scalable quality systems and executing vital quality engineering tasks across various projects.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the selection, evaluation, and monitoring of suppliers while maintaining the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
- Work closely with suppliers to define quality agreements and technical requirements.
- Assess supplier risks and collaborate with teams to mitigate potential issues that could disrupt business operations.
- Develop and maintain procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
- Guide suppliers and technical teams through essential processes, including FMEAs, control plans, validation strategies, and equipment qualifications.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Operations to establish manufacturing test specifications and quality inspection criteria.
- Manage Supplier Audits, Qualifications, Corrective Actions (SCARs), Change Assessments, and Non-conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) decision-making processes.
