About the Role
The Supply Chain Compliance Analyst is tasked with establishing and managing the compliance framework necessary for our supply chain's operations in a defense-oriented environment. This position involves translating intricate regulatory requirements, such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, export controls, and customer directives, into clear, actionable processes that can endure internal audits, customer evaluations, and government inspections.
You will take ownership of compliance workflows from identification to resolution, conducting gap analyses, mapping compliance aspects throughout procurement and manufacturing workflows, creating compliant processes and documentation standards, and fostering accountability through execution. This is not a role focused on policy documentation; instead, you will collaborate directly with Procurement, Quality, Program Management, and Operations teams to ensure that compliance is woven into our operational fabric, not merely a theoretical concept.
The Compliance Analyst will partner with Supply Chain leadership, Legal, Contracts, and various stakeholders to convert regulatory duties into documented, auditable, and repeatable business processes. You will develop the systems that validate compliance, including compliance matrices, control documentation, training resources, and audit readiness packages.
This position calls for an individual who is systematic, detail-oriented, and relentless in addressing compliance gaps. You must recognize that compliance without ongoing execution is simply paperwork, and you should be adept at transforming regulatory jargon into practical operational guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and maintain supply chain compliance processes and standard practices that convert regulatory requirements into actionable workflows.
- Interpret regulatory and contractual obligations into straightforward, executable workflows.
- Facilitate audit preparedness by ensuring that documentation, traceability, and evidence are comprehensive and readily available.
