ABOUT THE ROLE
The Strategic Supply Chain Program Manager plays a pivotal role in driving transformative change within the Supply Chain Programs team. This position entails comprehensive ownership of intricate, cross-functional projects from conception to execution. You will spearhead initiatives by fostering collaboration among diverse teams including Engineering, IT, and Procurement, to develop impactful solutions that enhance operational efficiency and scalability of our supply chain. Acting as the primary point of contact for your projects, you will be responsible for defining project scope, managing timelines, mitigating risks, and ensuring the achievement of project objectives. This role is dynamic and demanding, presenting opportunities for you to implement structure and influence processes from day one.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead cross-functional teams to define project scope, create detailed project plans, and oversee execution from start to completion.
- Drive the design and implementation of innovative supply chain processes and systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and scalability.
- Act as the central communication hub for your projects, facilitating meetings and providing regular status updates and executive summaries to stakeholders and leadership.
- Manage project timelines, identifying critical path activities, and proactively mitigate risks to maintain project momentum.
- Champion change management initiatives, developing communication strategies, training materials, and adoption plans to ensure successful integration of new processes and tools.
- Hold project teams and stakeholders accountable for deliverables and deadlines, navigating organizational complexities to eliminate roadblocks and facilitate decision-making.
- Utilize the expertise of Program Analysts and subject matter experts to ensure thorough data analysis and process mapping supports project objectives.
