Role overview
This role leads efforts to strengthen supply chain systems across Luminis Health. The Supply Chain Systems Manager focuses on vendor management, procurement workflows, inventory tracking, and distribution logistics. Collaboration with various departments is essential, aiming to align supply chain functions with organizational goals.
Key objectives include standardizing processes and improving efficiency through technology. The manager is responsible for creating a transparent and reliable supply chain infrastructure that supports both financial and operational controls. Enhancing electronic procure-to-pay systems is a central part of the job, with a focus on delivering measurable improvements.
Regular assessment of operational weaknesses, such as gaps in financial oversight, customer satisfaction, or throughput, informs both immediate actions and long-term strategies. The manager works closely with the Vice President of Supply Chain and other stakeholders to advance system enhancements that support strategic objectives.
Main responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations for supply chain management systems, including Finance ERP, Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX), Jump Technology, PAR Excellence, Symplr, EPIC, and ECRI. Maintain accurate item files, enable vendor transactions, and manage system content.
- Design and refine business processes to improve system utilization. Manage system access (GHX), deliver end-user training (Finance ERP, Symplr), and generate actionable reports.
- Develop and maintain technology strategies and roadmaps for supply chain systems. Track project milestones and provide regular updates on progress.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support clear communication and collaborative problem-solving.
