EDB is seeking a Support Engineer II to join the remote Support Services team based in Spain. This position focuses on supporting and maintaining Postgres databases for a wide range of clients, including those in government, finance, media, and IT. The role involves direct client interaction, with an emphasis on providing technical guidance that reflects current best practices in the industry.
What you will do
- Deliver advanced troubleshooting for EDB product lines and open-source PostgreSQL products, identifying and recommending effective solutions.
- Work closely with junior and intermediate support engineers, offering mentorship and guidance during the triage process.
- Develop reproducible test cases, file development requests, and propose patches as needed.
- Partner with development teams to enhance service offerings through technical expertise and feedback.
Role focus
This role centers on hands-on database management and client support. The Support Engineer II will help resolve complex technical issues, contribute to product improvements, and play a key role in knowledge sharing within the team.

This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in Spain.
