Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with strong knowledge in energy efficiency practices and sustainability initiatives. Proven experience in mechanical systems design, analysis, and optimization is required. Excellent communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively across various teams are essential. Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and energy modeling software will be advantageous.

The Role: As a Sustainability Engineer at Mantis Innovation, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating, developing, and executing energy efficiency projects across various sectors including industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, distribution, and complex commercial facilities. This position emphasizes optimizing the performance of existing mechanical systems with a focus on cost-effectiveness, constructability, and operational reliability.
In this dynamic role, you will engage in a blend of technical fieldwork, engineering analysis, and solution development. The ideal candidate will possess robust expertise in mechanical systems, demonstrate confidence in customer interactions, and maintain a balance between field assessments and detailed engineering calculations. Strong independent engineering judgment is essential, as is the ability to evaluate facilities comprehensively and translate findings into actionable project scopes. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Technical Solutions, Mechanical, BMS, and Sales teams to support project development from the initial assessment through to client delivery.
