Qualifications

Proven experience in Linux system administration (CentOS, RedHat) and/or UNIX (HP-UX, AIX, Solaris). Proficiency in automation and scripting tools, particularly Python and Bash. Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, OpenStack) and containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift). Strong command-line skills and experience with configuration management tools and version control systems (Bitbucket/Git). Hands-on experience with Ansible is a plus. Expertise in Web Application Servers, particularly WebLogic is advantageous. Understanding of TCP/IP, LDAP, and IPv4/IPv6 is desirable. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal; proficiency in French is a plus.

Oversee the management, maintenance, and monitoring of Linux servers and applications, ensuring timely system updates, patching, and effective configuration management.
Conduct regular system and security audits, perform vulnerability assessments, and propose suitable mitigation strategies to enhance system security.
Identify and resolve system performance issues proactively, ensuring optimal system availability and minimal downtime.
Offer technical support and guidance to users and other IT personnel, proficiently troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure accurate records and facilitate knowledge sharing across teams.
Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as necessary.
