About the job
Join TechnicAtome at our Cadarache facility as a System Control and Electrical Engineer. You will be an integral part of the Defense Reactors Directorate, contributing to engineering activities that support the operational maintenance of our nuclear heating units.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Drafting and reviewing responses to designer inquiries related to the systems in support of the Responsible for Service Heating Units (RCS) for various onboard nuclear heating units, including the Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier and next-generation nuclear submarines, in collaboration with teams in Toulon and Brest.
- Engaging in the evolution process for operational platforms, addressing obsolescence treatments, installation modifications, and safety review-driven changes.
- Overseeing specialized studies in your domain: validating technical contours, managing, and closing action items.
- Collaborating on recurrent technical issues with the technical lead, the mixed technical service for nuclear heating units (STXN), CEA experts, and Naval Group through working groups or feedback sessions, potentially representing TechnicAtome to external stakeholders.
- Creating and/or verifying documentation produced by other entities within the cell concerning control-command system information in the operational documentation corpus for heating units (operational, operational guidance, safety, maintenance documents).
- Coordinating with the control-command profession based in Aix on designer support activities.
These missions are subject to evolution as TechnicAtome engages in diverse projects, including nuclear propulsion and civil nuclear initiatives.
