Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Several years of experience in automotive system engineering, specifically in eAxle, eDrive, or powertrain systems. Deep understanding of system architecture, layout, and interface definitions within complex automotive systems. Proficient in requirements engineering and management tools, such as DOORS, and knowledgeable about ASPICE processes. Strong project coordination and communication skills, particularly in an international context. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and optimization of the eAxle system layout, dimensions, and overall systemic solutions by creating, evaluating, and implementing innovative concepts.

• Serve as the primary technical contact for customer inquiries related to system specifications and interfaces.

• Facilitate coordination of customer requirements from both top-down and bottom-up perspectives, engaging with internal experts as needed.

• Manage customer requirements, breaking them down into specific subcomponents, and diligently track their progress.

• Navigate uncertainties and incomplete requirements by making informed assumptions and converting them into actionable requirements.

• Assist in the content and timeline planning of system work packages in collaboration with internal experts, while monitoring work status.

• Establish procedures and methodologies for system verification and validation, aligning with the specified SAR list.

• Conduct risk assessments for special releases.

• Support change management initiatives by analyzing the impacts of changes to both requirements and design from a systemic perspective.

• Define system architecture, including detailed interface definitions and descriptions.

Scope of Work:

• Be a core member of the project team.

• Gather and finalize base requirements for eAxle systems from customers.

• Coordinate subcomponent activities during the design phase.

• Define and approve functional measurements.

• Facilitate special system measurements as required.

Deliverables:

• Development of a comprehensive requirements sheet, including customer technical profiles.

• Implementation of requirements in DOORS, with support from requirements engineers.

• Confirmation of requirements within DOORS as per ASPICE standards.

• Formulate system concepts and oversee their assessment and introduction.

• Produce technical concept documents (TCD).

• Create detailed interface descriptions in the interface matrix.

• Prepare PS-PE basic requirements sheets (PE-Basisanspruch).
