About the job

Join Our Team as a System Integration Engineer

At Heron Power, we are pioneering advanced power electronics designed for the modern grid. Our mission is to eliminate barriers to electricity generation and consumption through scalable, innovative, and cost-effective hardware solutions that accelerate the electrification of everything.

We are focusing our initial efforts on developing superior converters (inverters and rectifiers) that seamlessly connect large-scale renewable energy sources, storage systems, and high-demand loads like data centers to the grid. Our leadership team comprises experienced professionals who have successfully designed and delivered gigawatts of power conversion solutions over the last decade.

We believe in collaborative learning and aim to foster an enriching environment where personal, technical, and career development thrives. Expect to work in a dynamic setting, where first-principles engineering drives us to tackle challenging problems with a hands-on approach.

About the Role

As a System Integration Engineer specializing in Thermal and Fluid systems, you will be instrumental in architecting, designing, and operating test infrastructures that validate our thermal systems for grid-connected converters.

This role encompasses the entire development lifecycle, including: design reviews, failure mode analysis, test strategy formulation, bench design/build, test execution, data analysis, root cause investigations, and implementing verified fixes. You will identify design and process issues through physical testing and the development of automated test equipment and data workflows.

If you are passionate about building capabilities from the ground up, enjoy lab work, and want your contributions to influence rapid iterations, this position is perfect for you.

About Heron Power
