Job Overview
As Etched transitions from research and development to full-scale global manufacturing, the intricacies of our financial and operational systems are rapidly evolving. We are seeking a proactive Systems Engineer to take ownership of our financial systems' technical framework. Your role will begin with ERP systems and expand to encompass data infrastructures that link finance with manufacturing, logistics, and overall operations, playing a pivotal role in our growth.
You will be the lead architect and developer for our ERP and financial data workflows, focusing on architecture, implementation, and long-term scalability. Initially, your efforts will center on ERP systems, with expectations to broaden your responsibilities into data engineering and infrastructure management over time.
This is a hands-on role where you will fully own the systems, from design to implementation, ensuring they are robust and scalable.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Core Financial Systems
Act as the principal technical owner of Etched’s ERP and financial systems.
Lead the architecture, implementation, and continued support of these systems.
Serve as the primary project manager and developer for NetSuite projects.
Develop Financial Data Infrastructure
Design and implement a comprehensive financial data lake or warehouse.
Generate clean, organized datasets for financial analysis and forecasting.
Maintain data integrity, traceability, and accuracy across all systems.
Integrate Financial Systems with Hardware Operations
Create integrations spanning manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and reverse logistics.
Accurately model real-world physical processes in software.
Ensure financial data accurately reflects operational realities.
Implement Comprehensive Solutions
Oversee the entire process from design to execution.
