To qualify for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:A degree in Engineering. A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience post-degree, encompassing multi-disciplinary design and engineering, with a focus on interface management for rail projects, including at least one project currently in the construction stage. Knowledge of CENELEC Standards EN 50126/50128/50129.Preferably, experience on the Client side. Strong commercial insight and expertise in change management. Ability to quickly and effectively interpret and elicit Project Requirements from contracts. Proficient in communicating with specialists to clarify technical issues. Exceptional writing skills in clear, concise English, with the ability to comprehend complex written statements. Capable of systematically processing and organizing technical information from various documents. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Join our dynamic team in Jerusalem as a Systems Interface Specialist for Urban Railway and Light Rail Transit (LRT) projects. You will be a vital part of the Blue Line LRT project team, where Egis has been designated as the Engineering Monitoring Company (EMC). Your primary responsibilities will include conducting engineering reviews and design audits focused on Interface Management, representing the Client in alignment with the contract established between the State and the Project Company.

Your expertise will be crucial in managing extensive requirements related to project interfaces between the scope delivered by the Project Company, both internally and externally. Collaborating closely with the Integration Manager, you will spearhead systematic audits and monitor the governance and maturity of interface management in accordance with contractual obligations, ensuring effective change management and control throughout the project lifecycle.

Regular communication with specialist engineers across various disciplines including track, electrification, signalling, and civil engineering will be essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, thrive in teamwork environments, demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, and maintain a proactive approach to innovation.

As the Interface Specialist, you will oversee the assessment of key systems engineering documents, requiring a comprehensive understanding of industry standards, design criteria, and the integration of civil, mechanical, electrical, and railway systems throughout the project duration. Furthermore, excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for promoting our quality and safety values to external partners, including vendors and subcontractors. Familiarity with contractual and technical documents, along with a capacity to elicit contractual requirements in collaboration with technical experts, is necessary.
