Key Responsibilities:Coordinate test campaigns aligned with project milestones and verification cycles. Draft comprehensive test plans and procedures, including developing scripts for automation of execution and analysis. Conduct objective and subjective vehicle evaluations using both commercially available and proprietary Waymo tools and methodologies. Interpret actuator, vehicle, electrical, and motion control architecture requirements into verification tests, executing them in vehicles. Analyze and visualize test outcomes, presenting findings effectively. Lead investigations into issues and root cause analysis. Qualifications:Solid understanding of systems engineering principles, including requirement definition and formal verification and validation methods. Experience in data analysis and test automation scripting, particularly in the context of vehicles or other electromechanical systems (C/C++, Python, Matlab/Simulink). Proficiency in test planning and experimental design, focusing on safety and repeatability. Highly organized, proactive, and collaborative. Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Controls, Aerospace, etc.) or equivalent practical experience.
