What You Bring to the Team:A degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field. Several years of hands-on experience in embedded Linux development. Strong expertise in:Linux kernel, device trees, and driver development. Build systems such as Yocto or Buildroot. Proficiency in C/C++ (knowledge of shell scripting and Python is a plus). Demonstrated experience in technical leadership or as a senior/lead engineer. A structured, solution-oriented approach to work. Excellent English language skills (German language skills are advantageous).

Your expertise will enable the development of high-performance, robust, and reliable embedded systems, designed to thrive under rigorous real-world conditions. You will set the technical direction, ensure long-term system stability, and guide complex embedded solutions from initial concept to operational deployment.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Lead an embedded Linux development team with technical and disciplinary authority.

  • Oversee planning, coordination, and prioritization of development tasks and resources.

  • Take technical ownership of embedded Linux platforms including BSP, kernel, drivers, and user space.

  • Collaborate closely with product management, hardware development, and embedded software teams.

  • Ensure high code quality, architectural standards, and robust development processes.

  • Coach, mentor, and support the continuous development of team members.

  • Contribute to technology decisions and long-term strategic planning.
