Who We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate will uphold the team's objectives by collaborating effectively with Group Leaders and Team Members to promote continuous improvement. This role involves working alongside the Group Leader and Team Members to identify and escalate quality concerns in accordance with the company’s quality processes, ensuring that we deliver the highest quality products to our internal and external customers. The Team Leader will consistently demonstrate behavior that supports a team-oriented culture, while effectively managing safety, quality, delivery, cost, and team morale.
Your Responsibilities:
- Facilitate department work activities, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and processes.
- Support team members in achieving safety, quality, and productivity standards by:
- Acting as the first line of support during abnormal conditions.
- Escalating issues to involve appropriate resources when necessary.
- Ensuring operational continuity by covering for team members during absenteeism or breaks.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supervising personnel responsible for loading and unloading trucks, verifying counts, and inspecting for damaged packaging.
- Promoting safe equipment operation among team members.
