Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with engineers and artists to enhance and optimize the asset production pipeline.
- Develop and maintain tools for efficient asset management within the engine.
- Create innovative shaders and refine existing ones to meet project needs.
- Optimize assets, shaders, and workflows in accordance with specified hardware requirements.
- Identify and resolve technical bugs and issues promptly.
- Foster a collaborative and team-oriented work environment.
- Document processes and tools to support pipeline efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Technical Artist in the game development industry.
- Proficient in Unreal Engine 5 with a strong command of Blueprints and Editor Utility Widgets.
- Basic programming skills in at least one language (Python, C#, C++).
- Experience in shader programming, including familiarity with UE4/UE5 Material system, HLSL, GLSL, etc.
- Background in art tools production.
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Intermediate or higher proficiency in English.
