Overview
The Rainforest Alliance seeks a skilled technical consultant to spearhead the advancement of its ESG risk assessment methodology utilized in the Sourcing Risk Assessment (SRA) solution. This role is instrumental in ensuring methodological integrity, compliance with regulations (such as CSRD, EUDR, HREDD), and fostering trust among clients and stakeholders.
The consultant will be responsible for:
Conducting a comprehensive literature review to pinpoint academic and industry best practices for ESG risk assessment within agricultural contexts at the farm level.
Using insights from the literature review and recent pilot studies to enhance the on-site data collection survey.
Formulating the risk assessment methodology based on findings from the literature review.
Assessing the feasibility of integrating geographical data into the risk assessment methodology.
Consultancy Scope of Work
Main Objectives
Take ownership of and refine the methodology behind the SRA risk assessment.
Ensure the model is transparent, verifiable, and instills confidence in both clients and external evaluators.
