We are currently seeking a Software Engineer II.The Behavioral Simulation team is at the forefront of developing a simulation engine that mirrors the systems following the perception system. This team focuses on creating realistic actor behaviors and infrastructure tools for generating motion planning simulations.Your Responsibilities:Write software in C++17 and Python, adhering to modern best practices. This is a hands-on development role.Contribute to engineering best practices within a large and complex codebase.Address end-to-end simulation and autonomy behavior evaluation challenges across various components of the autonomy system, including motion planning, mapping, and localization.Design and implement critical simulation and offline testing engines and tools.Develop and enhance software for world entities, adaptive behavior, pathfinding, road networks, computational mathematics, spatial queries, collision detection, vehicle control, and vehicle dynamics.
